The Alexander mosaic was found in the “Casa del Fauno” (House of the Faun) in Pompeii on October 24, 1831. In 1843, it was moved from its location to Naples, restored and placed on a wall at the Museo Archeologico Nazionale. We implemented the image of Alexander from this famous mosaic in our necklace design.
